When you create an account and use Ascend, we collect:

• Email address — used to create and manage your account and for account recovery
• Username — your chosen display name visible to other Ascend users
• Password — stored in encrypted form using industry-standard hashing (bcrypt). We never store your password in plain text and never have access to it.

App Activity Data

As you use Ascend, we collect data about your activity within the app:

• Focus session data — duration, timestamps, and frequency of your Pomodoro study sessions
• Task data — titles, descriptions, due dates, priorities, and tags you create for your tasks
• Goal data — goals you set and your progress toward them
• Gamification data — XP points, level, streak count, and achievements you earn by completing focus sessions
• Social content — posts and captions you create and share in the social feed, and your reactions to other users' posts
